Sons of the Subway are a collection of street artists led by Lucien Thompson, a well known and highly respected artist who has been well known on the scene for a number of years.

Born out of the Bronx in the early 70's, Graffiti has been transformed from Urban vandalisation to being recognised as a true Artform. Here at Sons of the Subway we offer you the chance to own an original piece of Urban culture designed by some of the premier Graffitti artists in the UK!

Sons of the Subway were formed in 2011 and Lucien was joined by Dosah, Sole and Skooly, all well-known artists in their own right.

Lucien, AKA Slice, first came to prominence as a Grafitti artist when featured in the book, 'Spraycan Art',  the follow-up to the highly acclaimed 'Subway Art'  which for those in the know is considered the bible " for graffiti artists. 'Spraycan Art' showed how grafitti had spread across the globe and the influence that grafitti was having on a worldwide basis. This piece featuring Slice's and the UKA's 'Stop', was copied by Banksy and copied onto a cow (of all things !) in his book 'Wall and Peace!'.
